Voting Draft Standard for NELAP Available for Review and Vote

The TNI Chemistry Committee has voted to approve a Voting Draft Standard (VDS) that would affect section 1.7 (instrument calibration) of Module 4 of Volume 1 of the TNI laboratory accreditation standard.  This VDS is part of a larger effort to revise Module 4 over the next few years.  A copy of the VDS can be found below.  Deletions are in strike-out text, additions are underlined.  Click the link below to download.

In accordance with SOP 2-100, this standard is open to a membership vote beginning on March 27, 2013.  This vote will be open for 45 days, concluding on May 11, 2013.  Any votes cast on or before May 11, 2013 (closing date) will be discussed publically at the Chemistry Committee meeting on Tuesday in San Antonio, TX on August 6, 2013. 

TNI urges all members to vote on this standard before May 11, 2013 (closing date).  You may choose to vote any time between the posting of this announcement and May 11, 2013.  In order to vote, you must log in to the Members Only area of the website and then click on TNI NELAP Voting Draft Standard BALLOT.
