Testing Requirements in EPA Regulations
SYNOPSIS
By the end of this course, you will understand the regulatory framework that drives environmental testing.
In response to laws passed by Congress, the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has developed regulations that require the testing of environmental contaminants in virtually all environmental media (air, water, soil, wastes). This course will review the process by how a law becomes a regulation, examine the major statutes that require monitoring, and then provide an in-depth presentation of the specific testing requirements, including test methods and analytes, in each regulation.
