Educational Delivery System - Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What is the difference between a webinar and a webcast?
A: Webinars are Live Training conducted over the internet at a specific time. Webinars include interactive on-line training courses, workshops, forums or seminars. They are set-up for a specific audience at a specific time and allow for interaction among the attendees. All you need is a phone and internet access.
Webcasts are On-Demand Training. Webcasts include on-line material that can be accessed anytime and generally by anyone who is interested. A webcast can be a pre-recorded training course, workshop, forum or seminar. All you need is internet access.
TNI uses WebEx for Webinars and Webcasts.
Q: I purchased training through a group registration. How do we complete that training?
A: It is expected that group training will be taken as a group at the same place and time. A link for the training will be sent to your lead coordinator who will set up the training for the group. If your employer has mandated social distancing, training may be completed on an individual basis when requested ahead of time.
Q: I purchased a certificate for a webcast series, how do I get the certificate?
A: If you purchased a Certificate of Completion (with associated CEUs) for a webcast series, please complete all classes and quizzes before forwarding the quizzes to Paul Junio at [email protected]. If you purchased Certificates of Attendance for a webcast series, please complete all classes before notifying to Paul Junio at [email protected].
Q: I purchased multiple certificates for the members in our group registration. How do I get them?
A: Contact Paul Junio at [email protected] for a certificate form. Complete the form after everyone in the group has completed the training and if quizzes were taken, please submit them at one time along with the form to Paul Junio.
Q: I did not purchase a certificate when I purchased a webcast or webinar. How do I get a certificate now?
A: Contact Paul Junio at [email protected] for assistance.
Q: I am not going to be able to attend all parts of the webinar. How do I get access to the parts I will miss?
A: Due to the nature and set up of webinar series, full attendance is expected by each individual. If you know in advance that you will not be able to attend the entire training, please wait to purchase the self-paced webcast recording, which will be available approximately one month after completion of the training.
